About a year ago, TIME magazine published a list of what they deemed to be the 140 best Twitter feeds. I disagreed with their list, and so with the encouragement of Pop Culture Nerd, I made my own list of The Real Best Twitter Feeds.
I didn’t think many people would care about my list, but lo and behold, it continues to be quite popular. The single most popular post here, in fact (although the interview with Will Trent is a close second).
Because Twitter is constantly in motion, I figured it was time to update the list. The new version is below. Just like the first version, this isn’t a popularity contest (these aren’t million-follower accounts). These are accounts I find interesting for a variety of reasons. Some I wish would tweet much more and some could stand to dial it back a bit, but hey, nobody’s perfect.
Also like last year, they’re in alphabetical order–not order of wonderfulness–and each name is a link to Twitter.
I hope you find this helpful. If you’d like to see a feed that contains all these accounts or if you’re inclined to follow them en masse, you can do so here because I put them all on a Twitter list. I’m also adding a window with the feed below the list. For those who are repeats from last year (which is roughly half the list), I’ve updated their Twitter bios.
